A small painting of a quiet beach with the sunlight glistening on the wet sand and water using textures and glazes of oil paint on hand stretched cotton canvas. I’ve used different blues and purples along with gold and white to depict how the sky is reflected in the glittering surface of the shore. For me, coastlines have come to symbolise the boundary between the conscious and the subconscious.
Medium/size: Oil on canvas 30x30cm
